Mary Nichols strives to create beautiful objects born of the best influences in American fashion.
The idea for Mary Nichols Handbags came about after her search for a classic, understated bag came up empty. Mary’s aesthetic has brought a fresh perspective to today’s fashion culture. She is inspired by beautiful, rich colors and well thought out design that serves both form and functionality.
Photography, art and travel have long been influences for Mary. A native Texan, Mary Nichols moved to NYC to study fashion at Parsons the New School for Design after graduating with a degree in Fine Art from Southern Methodist University. During this time, Mary worked for Theory and Calvin Klein Collection learning about the process of designing, manufacturing, and selling a product from start to finish.
She started her collection with three designs in 2007. Since then, though her line has evolved, she consistently delivers inspired, handcrafted leather goods. Mary Nichols Handbags have been featured in national publications such as Instyle, People, and Brides Magazines.
The Mary Nichols Handbag collection continues to expand with one-of-a-kind exotic skin clutches, satchels and totes.
